You have finally put the kids to bed and get some free time. What do you choose to do? I usually opt for writing blogs, working on some sewing projects, light house renos or my all time favourite (and my usual go to) reading. Whatever it is I decide to do, right around 8 pm I get hungry. I'm talking pregnant lady hungry. I could eat anything and everything in sight! I don't
know why it is that I get so hungry at night but I do. Perhaps it is the "seniors time" we eat at, you know the usual 4 pm. Whatever it is, there is no doubt that once my little is in bed I am grabbing something. However, I have made the goal to be more active and stay healthy, I know one of the areas I have to work on is late night snacking so I looked up some great, healthy late night snacks and this is what I found:
While all of this is helpful, if you've had a rough night go the other route. After the kids go to bed make sure to rip open the chip bag, break out that chocolate bar (dark of course) thaw the tub of ice cream, you deserve it. Healthy eating can wait a night.
